Kara is a shareholder at the firm whose practice focuses on a broad range of complex real estate and business transactions, both residential and commercial. Her practice areas include:
- Commercial real estate
- Residential real estate closings
- Business transactions
- Builder representation, including land takedowns and homebuyer closings
- Residential community formation and development (restrictions, HOA formation, etc.)
Kara is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina and represents homebuyers, owners, developers, and lenders in matters relating to the acquisition, sale, and financing of residential and commercial developments. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating real property and financing transaction documents, and she reviews title work and supervises real estate closings.
Kara prides herself on her attentiveness to clients and their agents throughout every transaction.
Kara is a member of the South Carolina Bar Real Estate Practices Council and the Grand Strand Humane Society, and she serves as President of the Horry County Bar Association.
Outside the office, she enjoys working out, cheering on FSU football and Atlanta Braves baseball, and traveling.
